![]() It is only a short 5 min walk to Carlisle Bay, Cuz's Fish Shack, Coffee Barbados Cafe (great breakfast spot, 1/2 the price of the Hilton's breakfast), the George Washington House, and the Garrison. You can walk downstairs at any time and they always have taxis waiting to take you wherever you need to go - no planning needed. (The hammocks on the beach are also nice!) 4. We liked that there were always plenty of chairs and umbrellas available on the beach and you can move them wherever you want. We liked that we got a room with access to the executive lounge because we could go up there and get unlimited waters and sodas. We liked that when we got to the airport, they always have a Hilton representative waiting that you can just walk up to and they fetched us a taxi immediately - no planning required - $20 USD 2. The most important things to know about the Hilton: 1. Most of the time it felt like we had the place to ourselves because the resort is so big, and everyone was just spread out everywhere. The hotel was maybe 30 or 40% full so it was never really crowded (except for the middle of the day around the pool). ![]() We had an amazing time! I feel like the beginning of the "off season" is the best time to go to Barbados. My husband and I stayed at the Hilton for 6 nights the first week of June. ![]()
